Imprimaciones para proteger hierro, acero y otros metales antes de pintar: minio antioxidante, imprimaciones directas sobre óxido, multiadherentes al agua, ignífugas y para plásticos. Marcas como Owatrol, Blatem y Juno.
Cómo elegir imprimación para metal
- ✓ Estado del metal: sobre óxido firme existen imprimaciones que penetran y lo estabilizan; en metal nuevo, una antioxidante estándar.
- ✓ Tipo de metal: galvanizado, aluminio o plástico pueden necesitar una imprimación multiadherente.
- ✓ Acabado: comprueba la compatibilidad con el esmalte final, al agua o al disolvente.
- ✓ Preparación: retira el óxido suelto, desengrasa y seca antes de imprimar.

¿Tengo que quitar todo el óxido?
Hay que eliminar el óxido suelto y escamas; algunas imprimaciones están formuladas para aplicarse sobre óxido adherido.
¿Puedo pintar el galvanizado directamente?
Suele necesitar una imprimación multiadherente para asegurar el agarre.
