Cómo elegir imprimación o sellador
- ✓ Soporte: yeso, cemento, hormigón o fibrocemento necesitan imprimaciones diferentes según su porosidad y cohesión.
- ✓ Objetivo: fijar superficies que se desprenden, igualar la absorción, mejorar la adherencia o proteger del agua.
- ✓ Suelos: antes de un revestimiento epoxi, aplica el primer indicado por el sistema.
- ✓ Compatibilidad: usa una imprimación compatible con el acabado que vas a aplicar después.
Preguntas frecuentes
¿Siempre hace falta imprimación?
No siempre, pero en soportes nuevos, porosos, pulverulentos o muy absorbentes mejora mucho el resultado.
¿Qué diferencia hay entre fijador y puente de adherencia?
El fijador consolida y sella superficies débiles; el puente de adherencia ayuda a que un mortero se agarre a soportes lisos.
¿El sellador al siloxano cambia el aspecto?
Suele ser poco visible y protege frente al agua; conviene probarlo antes en una zona pequeña.
