About the product
Aguaplast Grey Anti-condensation Filler is a technical powder filler specifically formulated for surfaces with a high risk of surface condensation — bathrooms, toilets, poorly ventilated rooms, areas with a "cold wall" effect, garages, and storage rooms. Its formulation with special additives prevents surface condensation, is breathable to water vapor, and does not crack or shrink. Unlike standard white filler, its grey color visually indicates application points before painting. It can be applied on a wide variety of substrates, including polystyrene, wood, and primed metals. A minimum recommended thickness of 5 mm is required for maximum effectiveness. 3 kg format.
Which surfaces and situations is it ideal for?
- ✓ Bathrooms and toilets with walls that frequently condense moisture
- ✓ Rooms with poor ventilation or a "cold wall" effect with superficial moisture stains
- ✓ Garages, storage rooms, and basements with condensation on walls or ceiling
- ✓ Walls in contact with the exterior in cold or humid climates
- ✓ Surface preparation before painting in areas at risk of condensation
- ✓ Polystyrene, wood, plaster, concrete, and primed metal substrates
Why choose Aguaplast Anti-condensation Filler
- ✓ Prevents surface condensation — its special formulation acts as a barrier that reduces moisture deposition on the wall surface, preventing the appearance of dark stains, mold, and deterioration in areas prone to condensation
- ✓ Breathable to water vapor — allows the wall to breathe and evacuate internal moisture outwards, preventing vapor from being trapped in the wall and causing structural damage or stains
- ✓ Does not crack or shrink — unlike conventional fillers, it does not shrink upon drying; no cracks appear even when applied in somewhat thick layers, ensuring the durability of the treatment
- ✓ Great substrate versatility — applicable on precast and smooth concrete, troweled cement, polystyrene, wood, plaster, and primed metal surfaces; no need to change product depending on the substrate
- ✓ Easy sanding — despite its higher technical density, it can be easily sanded to achieve the desired finish before painting

How to prepare and apply — in 4 steps
- Prepare the substrate: clean and dry the surface. On metals, apply anti-corrosive primer beforehand. On very absorbent substrates, prime first. The surface must be free of dust, grease, and poorly adhered parts.
- Mix the product: add the powder to the water and mix until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Respect the proportion indicated on the packaging for optimal consistency.
- Apply a minimum layer of 5 mm: anti-condensation effectiveness requires a minimum thickness of 5 mm. Apply with a trowel or spatula in uniform layers, filling any irregularities in the substrate well.
- Allow to dry, sand, and paint: wait for complete drying (variable depending on thickness and conditions), sand gently, and apply the finishing paint — any plastic or breathable paint is compatible.
This product treats surface condensation, not rising damp or water infiltration. For rising damp or infiltration, treat the cause first.
Condensation or rising damp? — they are different problems
Surface condensation occurs when water vapor in the air deposits on a cold wall — stains on the upper part of walls or the ceiling, in winter. Anti-condensation Filler solves this problem. Rising damp (stains rising from the floor) or infiltration (through cracks or the roof) have other causes and require other treatments. If you have doubts about the type of dampness, consult us before purchasing.
Important limitations
Does not solve rising damp or water infiltration — only treats surface condensation. Respect the minimum thickness of 5 mm for real anti-condensation effectiveness. Apply on dry and well-prepared substrates.
