About the product
Beissier Betaelastic is Beissier's siloxane elastic paint for facades with active cracks and problematic substrates — the solution when conventional paint is not enough. Its formulation with elastomeric resins and siloxane creates a waterproof, breathable, and self-cleaning elastic membrane that bridges cracks up to 1 mm, repels water, does not accumulate dirt, and maintains color for years. Indoor and outdoor use, with water-repellent, anti-mold, and high elasticity properties. Available in white and colors. 15L format.
Which facades and substrates is it ideal for?
- ✓ Facades with fine cracks and active fissures that reappear with conventional paint
- ✓ Substrates with high ambient humidity, frequent rain, and exposure to severe weather
- ✓ Renovation of old facades with slight structural movement
- ✓ Facades in high pollution areas where dirt accumulates on the paint
- ✓ Cement, concrete, mortar, exterior plaster, and brick surfaces
Why choose Beissier Betaelastic
- ✓ Siloxane effect — water-repellent and self-cleaning — siloxanes create a surface that repels rainwater and prevents the accumulation of dust, algae, and mold; the facade cleans itself with every rain
- ✓ Water vapor breathable — despite being waterproof, it allows internal vapor to escape to the exterior; it does not trap moisture in the wall or cause efflorescence
- ✓ Anti-mold and anti-algae — the formulation with biocides prevents the growth of fungi, algae, and lichens on the surface, especially on north-facing facades or very humid areas
- ✓ Large 15L format — excellent price/m² ratio — the professional 15L format is the most economical per liter; with a coverage of 4–6 m²/L, it covers between 60 and 90 m² of facade per bucket
Compatible substrates
How to apply — in 4 steps
- Prepare the substrate: clean, sound, and free of dust, efflorescence, and loose parts. Remove mold with Fungistop. For very porous or powdery substrates, apply Fixacryl as a primer.
- Prepare the product: shake well before use. It can be diluted with water a maximum of 5–10% if the substrate is very absorbent for the first coat.
- Apply with a long-pile roller or brush in two cross coats. The first diluted coat serves as a primer; the second undiluted coat ensures the necessary membrane thickness for crack bridging.
- Allow to dry between coats: minimum 4–6 hours at 20°C. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C or above +35°C. Do not apply in the rain or with frost expected. Do not apply on substrates with active moisture without addressing the cause.
