About the product
Titan Oxiron Liso Satinado is an anti-rust enamel that can be applied directly to steel, offering an elegant satin finish, somewhere between the intense gloss of the Glossy and the textured finish of the Wrought Iron. Its fast-drying alkyd formulation allows for recoating after 1 hour, enabling most jobs to be completed in a single day, with weather resistance up to 10 years, excellent adhesion, hardness, and resistance to impacts and scratches. Available in 6 satin colors and 3 smooth wrought iron effect colors — an exclusive finish that combines the smoothness of a plain surface with the metallic look of wrought iron —, all in 750ml and 4L formats. It complies with UNE 48316:2014 for high-performance solvent-based anti-corrosive decorative enamels.
For which surfaces and projects is it ideal?
- ✓ Gates, grilles, and fences where an elegant satin finish is desired instead of an intense gloss
- ✓ Metal entrance doors, large gates, and outdoor contemporary design fences
- ✓ Radiators and pipes — satin is the most common finish due to its discretion and washability
- ✓ Home appliances, machinery, and industrial equipment
- ✓ Garden benches and metal outdoor and indoor furniture
- ✓ Decorative elements with a smooth wrought iron effect — deep metallic appearance without a rough texture
- ✓ Projects where the most elegant and discreet finish from the Oxiron range is desired
Why choose Titan Oxiron Liso Satinado
- ✓ Satin finish — the most versatile and elegant in the range — the soft sheen of satin adds visual depth without the excessive reflection of gloss; it better conceals marks and surface dirt; the preferred finish by architects and interior designers for metal in design projects
- ✓ Exclusive smooth wrought iron effect — 3 unique colors in the range — the Black, Steel Grey, and Brown smooth wrought iron effect colors offer a deep metallic appearance with a slight iridescence, halfway between the standard Satin and the rough Wrought Iron; perfect for high-end decorative pieces where a metallic effect is desired without the texture
- ✓ Direct application on steel without primer — no additional preparation; saves time and material compared to two-coat systems; the alkyd formulation directly creates the anti-corrosive layer on the metal
- ✓ Fast drying — job completed in one day — touch dry in 30–60 minutes; recoatable after 1 hour; allows for two coats and completion of work in a single day without waiting until the next day
- ✓ Weather resistance up to 10 years — certified anti-corrosive protection; resists rain, humidity, UV rays, and temperature changes in continuous outdoor exposure
- ✓ High hardness and resistance to impacts and scratches — the cured film resists intensive use on urban furniture, benches, machinery, and outdoor equipment; maintains the satin finish even under high abrasion conditions
- ✓ UNE 48316:2014 standard — complies with the Spanish standard for high-performance solvent-based anti-corrosive decorative enamels; a guarantee of technical quality certified by third parties

How to apply — in 4 steps
- Prepare the surface: remove poorly adhered rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. It is not necessary to achieve bright metal. Degrease with mineral spirits to remove oils and greases. Dry completely before application.
- Prepare the product: shake well before use. Apply directly undiluted for brush and roller. For spray gun, dilute with mineral spirits as needed for viscosity.
- Apply with a brush, foam roller, or spray gun in thin, even coats. Take advantage of the fast drying time to apply the second coat after 1 hour. Do not re-coat areas that have already begun to dry.
- Clean tools with mineral spirits immediately after use. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours before intensive use.
Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C or above +35°C, nor in rain or with relative humidity above 85%.

Oxiron Satin vs Glossy vs Wrought Iron vs Blued
Satin: soft sheen, the most elegant and versatile — favored for design projects. Glossy: maximum shine, more colors, faster drying (30 min) — ideal for quick maintenance jobs. Wrought Iron: decorative rough texture. Blued: exclusive high-end metallic finish.
What is the Smooth Wrought Iron Effect?
The 3 smooth wrought iron effect colors combine the smooth surface of Satin with the metallic pigments of Wrought Iron. The result is a smooth finish with metallic depth and slight iridescence — without a rough texture — highly sought after for contemporary design decorative elements and high-end furniture.
Application conditions and limitations
Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C or above +35°C, nor in rain or with relative humidity above 85%. Do not apply on greasy surfaces without prior degreasing. In the presence of very advanced active rust, clean to bare metal before applying. Flammable product — keep away from heat sources during application and drying.
