Uses and fields of application Two-component polyurethane for protection, sealing, and as a decorative finish, formulated with hydroxylated polyester resins in a water base that provide extraordinary performance. It presents great transparency as well as remarkable resistance to yellowing. The treated substrate material is waterproofed while maintaining its breathability to water vapor. Like all polyurethanes, it offers high resistance to wear, dirt, and certain chemicals. As a finishing varnish on properly primed metals. Ideal for conventional lime and cement. It presents a very natural finish on wood, parquet, and as a transparent protective varnish for walls, floors and pavements in general, such as on sports courts or stamped concrete. As a sealant, it waterproofs microcement against running water (occasional contact), but it is not a waterproofing agent against stagnant water (permanent contact). In the case of soap or detergent residues, rinse immediately, as these can cause marks or streaks to appear. The shelf life is 1 year from its manufacturing date, if properly stored. Surface preparation Before varnishing, the substrate must be properly prepared. It must be dry, clean, and free of dust, grease, or dirt. If it has been previously varnished or painted, the previous coating must be removed, especially if it is damaged or deteriorated. This can be done by sanding or stripping, ensuring the surface is in good condition. If repair, consolidation, or joint sealing is required, proceed before applying the primer. For mineral or cementitious surfaces, prior application of Primacrete finish is recommended. For wood, pre-seal with a wood pore filler and sand, as per manufacturer's instructions. Then apply two coats of Concrete Finish WT. For metal surfaces, clean them thoroughly to remove rust, grease, and dirt. If old paint is in poor condition, remove it by blasting, stripping, or sanding. Apply a metal primer. For ferrous metals, use a suitable anti-corrosive primer. Finally, protect by applying two coats of Concrete Finish WT. Application Prior to sealing with Concrete Finish WT, the use of a primer is recommended. For microcement, apply Primacrete Finish. It will be necessary to wait 4 hours after applying Primacrete Finish, applying two coats before proceeding with sealing with Concrete Finish WT and letting it dry for 24 hours between coats of Concrete Finish WT. It should not be applied at temperatures below 15°C or above 30°C. It can be applied with a spray gun, brush or roller, covering the surface well. For best results, it is recommended to apply two coats of product. The second coat is applied after 24 hours (low temperatures and ambient humidity delay drying). The first coat is sanded with 400 grit and the last coat does not require sanding. Check adhesion in a corner or hidden area before proceeding with total varnishing. Allow the polyurethane to cure for at least one week. Polyurethanes reach all their chemical properties after 7-14 days, depending on environmental conditions (humidity and temperature). Special precautions The following measures are recommended: - Good ventilation. - Protective glasses to avoid splashes. - Rubber gloves. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water for 15 minutes. In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water. Do not ingest. In case of ingestion, do not induce vomiting and seek medical attention immediately. Do not dilute with water. Empty containers must be disposed of according to current legal regulations. Keep out of reach of children. Test report - The tests have been carried out in an officially accredited external laboratory (AIDIMME). - Abrasion resistance. Taber method: UNE 48250. 1000 cycles/1000g. The tests were carried out with S-42 sandpaper, an applied load of 1000g for 1000 cycles, obtaining excellent results in all three finishes (gloss, satin, and matte). - Resistance to liquids. Absorbent medium method UNE EN2812-3 / UNE EN13442 Tool cleaning Tools should be washed with soap and water immediately after use.
