For painting and maintaining blackboards. Convert surfaces into blackboards. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Nature: acrylic. Finish: semi-matte. Colors: black, pink, mauve, green, and slate green. Leveling: excellent. Wet scrub resistance: Class 1 (UNE-EN 13.300).
Fineness: 7 +- 1hg. (Hegman units) (UNE-EN ISO 1524).
Viscosity: 90+-15 uk (Krebs units) at 25+-10ºC (UNE 48-076).
Density: 1.26+-0.10gr/cc. (UNE-EN ISO 2811-1).
Brushability: good.
Coverage: 12-14 m²/liter per coat. Drying: 40-60 minutes. Recoat: 6-8 hours. Tools: clean with water. Preservation: More than one year in original sealed container. Non-flammable. VOC: 2004 / 42 /IIA (A/d) (150/130)max.VOCs: 129 g / l. SURFACE PREPARATION
New surfaces: if plaster, apply one coat of Acrylic Sealer first. If wood, apply Sealer first and sand lightly. If iron, apply one coat of Anti-rust Primer or Blatemprimer Synthetic Anti-rust first. Painted surfaces: if the paint is in good condition, wash, sand lightly to ensure adhesion and apply Illusion Paint directly. If the paint is in poor condition, completely remove old paint, patch imperfections and proceed as with new surfaces. APPLICATION METHOD
On properly prepared surfaces, apply with a brush, roller, or spray gun. Dilution with water is approximately 10% for brush or roller and approximately 20% for spray gun. Apply 2 or 3 coats of paint depending on the surface to be painted. RECOMMENDATIONS
- Allow to dry for a minimum of 3 days before using the blackboard.
- Use soft chalk, not hard ones that may scratch the surface.
- Cleaning:
- For normal cleaning, use an eraser.
- For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth and allow to dry.
- To remove colored chalk stains, etc., due to their wax composition, use a damp cloth and a little neutral (non-aggressive) detergent and allow to dry.
- Stir the contents of the container. Do not paint in rainy weather, or at temperatures below 5ºC.
- Wash tools with water immediately after use.
