About the product
R4 structural repair with ample working time
Kerakoll Geolite 40 is a thixotropic mineral geomortar made from a geopolimer binder that regenerates reinforced concrete, restoring its monolithic nature. With a single product, you can passivate the rebar, rebuild, smooth, and protect. Compared to Geolite 10, its semi-rapid setting time of 40 minutes gives you room to work on large surfaces, model with precision, and avoid rushing each mix.
THE GEOLITE RANGE BALANCE: maintains the R4 class and the 2 to 40 mm range of Geolite 10, but quadruples the working time. If the repair is urgent or the scaffolding needs to be returned already, use Geolite 10.
Why choose Geolite 40
- ✓ R4 class according to EN 1504-3: the highest category for structural concrete repair.
- ✓ 40 minutes of workability: allows for large sections without cold joints or material waste.
- ✓ Passivates the rebar without additional product, eliminating an entire phase of the work.
- ✓ High thixotropy: vertical and overhead application without sagging.
- ✓ Waterproof and highly resistant to chemical agents.
- ✓ Paintable after 4 hours with GeoLite MicroSilicato, despite the slower set.
- ✓ 12 months of preservation, double that of Geolite 10.
