About the product
CT1 TRIBRID® is the most advanced construction adhesive and sealant on the market, featuring CT1's exclusive, revolutionary TRIBRID® technology that makes it 360% stronger than a traditional hybrid polymer. Unlike conventional MS-polymer sealants, CT1 combines three cross-linking systems in one — hence the name TRIBRID® — achieving exceptional adhesion on virtually any material without a primer, even working underwater and on damp surfaces. With EC1 Plus A+ Indoor Air Comfort GOLD® indoor air quality certifications, NAAF (Norwegian Asthma and Allergy Association) approval, and ISEGA food contact certificate, it is the go-to sealant for demanding construction, renovation, and maintenance. 290ml cartridge, available in 9 colors.
For what applications and materials is it ideal?
- ✓ Sealing and bonding of carpentry, windows, and frames — joining different materials without screws
- ✓ Expansion, perimeter, and movement joints in bathrooms, kitchens, facades, and swimming pools
- ✓ Repair and adhesion of fiberglass and carbon fiber structures — boats, car bodies
- ✓ Fixing mirrors, glass, and heavy materials without drilling the surface
- ✓ Underwater applications — emergency repairs in swimming pools, boats, and marine installations
- ✓ Saltwater environments — offshore platforms, boats, coastal installations
- ✓ Food contact areas — ISEGA certified for use in professional kitchens and food surfaces
- ✓ Any application requiring a paintable sealant with high flexibility and durability
Why CT1 TRIBRID® is different
- ✓ TRIBRID® Technology — 360% stronger than a traditional hybrid — combines three cross-linking systems in a single formulation, achieving significantly higher adhesion and cohesion values than conventional MS-polymer and polyurethane sealants on the market
- ✓ Works underwater and on damp surfaces — the only sealant that properly cures and adheres in the presence of water, allowing for emergency repairs without the need to dry the surface beforehand
- ✓ Universal adhesion without primer — adheres to all metals (including lead), glass, mirrors, wood, MDF, polystyrene, fiberglass, tiles, concrete, stone, and most plastics (except PP, PE, and PTFE) without the need for primer or prior treatment
- ✓ Excellent color retention — white stays white and transparent retains its clarity over time, without the typical yellowing of silicone or polyurethane sealants exposed to UV light
- ✓ Isocyanate-free, solvent-free, odorless — safe formulation for the installer and end-user; suitable for spaces with limited ventilation; does not shrink or crack during curing
- ✓ Unique flexibility and high vibration resistance — absorbs movements and expansions of the joint without cracking; especially suitable for joints between materials with different expansion coefficients
- ✓ Paintable — once cured, it can be painted with water-based paints and enamels; ideal for joints in carpentry and walls where the chromatic finish needs to blend with the surrounding paint
Materials it adheres to
How to apply — in 4 steps
- Prepare the surface: clean and degrease surfaces with an appropriate solvent to remove grease, dust, and loose particles. For maximum adhesion, surfaces must be clean; priming is not necessary on most materials. For existing joints with old sealant, remove all previous material down to the substrate.
- Cut the nozzle and load into the gun: cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to the desired joint diameter. Insert the cartridge into a standard caulking gun. For underwater applications, the product can be applied directly without special adaptation.
- Apply and smooth: apply the sealant in a continuous, even bead. Smooth the joint with a moistened finger or spatula within the first few minutes before a skin forms. For movement joints, ensure a minimum width of 6 mm to allow for deformation.
- Curing time: the product forms a skin in approximately 60 minutes at 23°C / 50% RH. Full cure occurs in 24–48 hours depending on temperature and humidity. It can be painted once fully cured.
Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature between +5°C and +25°C. Once opened, store with the nozzle protected for reuse. Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C.
