About the product
The NCS INDEX 2050 Color Chart is the most widely used color reference tool by painting, design, and architecture professionals in Spain and throughout Europe. It contains all 2,050 standard NCS colors — including the 100 new ones launched in 2022 — ordered by hue according to the NCS color circle, with large samples and a navigation system that allows any color to be located in seconds. It is the official chart that supports AENOR's UNE 48103 Standard for standardized colors in paints.
Who needs this chart?
- ✓ Professional painters working with NCS references in construction or renovation projects
- ✓ Architects and interior designers who need to communicate color precisely to clients and suppliers
- ✓ Decoration companies managing projects with multiple shades and finishes
- ✓ Paint manufacturers who need to reliably validate and reproduce NCS colors
- ✓ Graphic or product designers who work with the NCS system as a reference standard
Why choose the NCS INDEX 2050
- ✓ 2,050 standard colors in a single volume — including the 100 new colors from 2022, the most complete collection of the NCS system in a compact format
- ✓ Ordered by hue — classification based on the NCS color circle to make finding the correct color quick and intuitive, even on site
- ✓ Large samples (22/26 mm) — sufficient surface area to compare colors on the actual substrate without confusion due to small sample size
- ✓ Separate section for whites, grays, and blacks — the most used achromatic tones with low chromaticity are grouped separately for direct and quick access
- ✓ Smart navigation tabs — each page has a tab in the upper corner with the NCS notation printed on each sample to locate shades without wasting time
- ✓ ISO 9001 certified quality — produced in a single NCS quality center in Europe, with color control according to NCS level 1 (maximum color accuracy)
- ✓ Official standard in Spain — the NCS system has been AENOR's UNE 48103 Standard since 1994 for standardized colors in paints; having the chart means having the standard in hand
