Two-component epoxy paint for flooring subjected to high mechanical and/or chemical resistance. Extraordinary abrasion resistance, adhesion and durability.

Good adhesion, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance (especially alkalis); good application, performance and coverage.
APPLICATIONS
High-quality epoxy paint for coating industrial systems, such as parking floors, factories, warehouses, etc., on concrete and cement. For interior use.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Floor Grey RAL 7038, Floor Green RAL 6021 and Floor Red RAL 3009. Appearance: Gloss. Density: 1.30 ± 0.25 (UNE-EN-ISO 2811-1 and 2).
Volume solids: 50 ± 2%.
Drying (tack-free): 2-4 hours. Recoating:
Minimum: 12 hours. Maximum: 24 hours. Flash point: 26ºC.
Recommended thickness:
Wet: 60-100 microns. Dry: 30-50 microns. Yield: 5-8 m²/kg per coat. Data for product mixed at 25ºC.
Number of coats: 1-2. Mixing ratio:
Weight: 100/33. Volume: 100/50. Catalyst: Blatepox Floor Catalyst, Blatepox Floor E1 Catalyst or Blatepox AD Catalyst.
Pot life: 8 hours. Shelf life (cool, dry place; 15-30ºC, rh-60%):

APPROVALS AND TESTS
Water permeability (CE Mark) W < 0.1 Kg/m2h 0.5. Value obtained: W= 0.03 Kg/m2h 0.5 (EN 1062-3:2005).
Water vapor permeability (CE Mark) Class I SD <5m. Value obtained: SD= 1.2 m (EN-ISO 7783-1/2). Adhesion by pull-off (CE Mark) >/= 1.0 (0.7)b. Value obtained: 2.97 ± 0.60 MPa (UNE 1542:2000).
Abrasion resistance (TABER test) (CE Mark). Weight loss less than 3000 mg, H22 abrasive wheel / 1000 cycle rotation / 1000 g load. Value obtained: 126 ± 24 mg (EN-ISO 5470-1).
Impact resistance (CE Mark) Class II (>/= 10 Nm).
Value obtained: >/= 10 Nm (EN-ISO 6272-1).
Resistance to strong chemical attacks (CE Mark). Decrease in hardness by less than 50%, when measured according to the Buchholz method EN-ISO 2815, or according to the Shore method, EN-ISO 868, 24 hours after removing the coating by immersion in the test liquid. Value obtained:
Class II (28 days without pressure) for the following test liquids:
- Group 1 (gasoline).
- Group 3 (diesel and unused engine and gear oil).
- Group 11 (inorganic bases and their hydrolyzing alkaline salts in aqueous solution (pH>8) except ammonium solutions and oxidizing salt solutions).
Slipperiness (UNE-ENV 12633). Slip resistance Rd>45: Class 3. Floor fire classification (UNE-EN 13501:07+A1:2010):
Fire behavior: A2fl. Smoke production: S1. SURFACE PREPARATION
Apply over epoxy or polyurethane primer, epoxy or vinyl shop-primer. For old epoxy or polyurethane paints, a slight roughening is recommended beforehand.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Air gun: 10-20% Blatepox Thinner (nozzle 1.5-2 mm, 3-4 atm).
Airless gun: As is (0.018", 120 atm).
Brush / roller: 0-10% Blatepox Thinner. Application conditions:
Temperature >=12ºC / humidity <=80%.
Thinner: Thinner 333 or Blatepox Thinner. Cleaning solvent: Cleaning Thinner L or 330.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Stir the contents of the containers and the mixture of the two components until the product is homogeneous; do not store open or partially used containers. Consult the safety data sheets for toxicological information.
PRESENTATION
In containers of 4 (3+1) and 20 (15+5) Kg. Colors: Floor Grey RAL 7038, Floor Green RAL 6021 and Floor Red RAL 3009.
STORAGE
Storage time: More than one year in its original sealed container, protected from the elements (under cover and at a temperature between 5 and 35ºC).
SAFETY INFORMATION
