About the product
Beissier Todo Terreno Al Agua is the ecological multi-surface primer that simultaneously acts as a primer, sealer, and adhesion promoter on virtually any material — wood, metal, glass, PVC, ceramic, melamine, galvanized surfaces, and previously painted surfaces — without the need for sanding or additional preparation products. Its 100% water-based formulation with high-adhesion acrylic resins, free of organic solvents and compliant with the Kyoto Protocol, offers touch-dry in 30–60 minutes, thermal resistance up to 100°C, and anticorrosive protection on metals, with the convenient cleanup of a water-based product. Available in white and black, in formats from 375ml to 4L.
What surfaces and projects is it ideal for?
- ✓ Difficult surfaces that reject direct paint — melamine, glass, PVC, ceramic, and tiles
- ✓ Ferrous and non-ferrous metals (iron, steel, aluminum, copper, galvanized) before enameling
- ✓ Natural, varnished, or lacquered wood that needs sealing before applying water-based enamel or varnish
- ✓ Comprehensive renovations where painting over painted surfaces of different natures is required
- ✓ Projects requiring an ecological, solvent-free base — spaces with limited ventilation, schools, hospitals
- ✓ Repainting kitchens and bathrooms on existing tiles, melamines, and lacquers
- ✓ Outdoor work on rusted metals or substrates with significant thermal changes
Why choose Beissier Todo Terreno Al Agua
- ✓ Universal adhesion without sanding — the formulation with high surface tension acrylic resins penetrates and anchors on smooth and non-porous surfaces like melamine, PVC, glass, and ceramic without the need for prior mechanical preparation; eliminates the most laborious step of any renovation
- ✓ Anticorrosive on ferrous and non-ferrous metals — protects against oxidation on iron, steel, aluminum, copper, and galvanized surfaces; acts as a direct anticorrosion primer without the need for red lead or additional products
- ✓ Wood sealer — prevents irregular absorption — seals the pores of wood before applying water-based enamel or varnish, preventing fiber lift, uneven tones, and excessive consumption of the finishing product
- ✓ Ultra-fast drying — recoat in 2 hours — touch-dry in 30–60 minutes and recoatable in 2 hours; allows completing a full primer plus finish cycle on the same day without waiting times
- ✓ Resists up to 100°C — suitable for surfaces that heat up: radiators, heating pipes, industrial equipment, and metal elements near heat sources
- ✓ Solvent-free — water cleanup — ecological VOC-free formulation compliant with the Kyoto Protocol; no harsh odor, no flammability risk, tool cleanup with water before drying; the safe alternative to solvent-based versions for working in enclosed spaces
- ✓ Available in black as well as white — black is especially useful as a base under dark paints, black enamels, or intense colors, improving the covering power of the finish and reducing the number of coats needed
Compatible surfaces and materials
How to apply — in 4 steps
- Prepare the surface: it must be clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, loose rust, and poorly adhered particles. For rusty metals, remove active rust with sandpaper or a wire brush before applying. On very smooth surfaces (glass, melamine, PVC), degreasing with isopropyl alcohol or water with detergent further improves adhesion.
- Prepare the product: shake the can well before use. If necessary, dilute with a maximum of 5–10% water to adjust viscosity for spraying. For brush and roller, use directly without dilution.
- Apply an even coat: with a brush, short-nap roller, or airless spray gun, distributing evenly without accumulation. On very porous surfaces (raw wood, concrete), a second coat may be necessary after 2 hours of drying to ensure complete sealing.
- Allow to dry and apply the finish: touch-dry in 30–60 minutes. Apply the enamel, varnish, or topcoat paint after 2 hours. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C or above +30°C, or during rain, intense direct sunlight, or relative humidity above 85%.

Todo Terreno Al Agua vs Todo Terreno (solvent-based)
Same universal adhesion capability, different base. The Water-based version is odorless, non-flammable, cleans up with water, and complies with VOC regulations — ideal for interiors and sensitive users. The solvent-based version offers greater chemical resistance and is preferred by professionals for high-demand outdoor applications or very greasy substrates.
White or black?
White: universal base for any finish color, maximizes the covering power of light and medium enamels. Black: specific base for finishes in dark colors (black, anthracite, navy blue, burgundy) — reduces the number of enamel coats needed and achieves greater saturation of the final color.
Unsuitable surfaces and application conditions
Do not apply on surfaces with active moisture, active rust that has not been removed, waxes, silicones, or mold release agents without complete prior degreasing. Do not apply on polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), or PTFE without specific adhesion treatment. Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C or with frost expected. Do not use as a direct final finish outdoors without a protective enamel or varnish coat over it.
